-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

AR Review:

- Mike change 3.2.1 to suggest use of Terminator Model_type
  - done

- Mike remove 3.1.3 from IQ spec
  - done

- Mike remove 3.2.2 from IQ spec
  - done

- Mike remove 3.2.3 from IQ spec
  - done

- Kim merge 3.2.5 into 3.2.4
  - done
  - Kim noted that the title line was not updated in the released document

AR: Mike update title line for 3.2.5 to match that provided by Kim

New items:

- It was mentioned that Michael Mirmak has suggested having technical
presentations in IBIS open forum teleconferences
  - Where would the documents be stored?
    - IF the IQ group presents we would store on our own web page.
  - Would the presentations overlap with IBIS summits?
    - The next summit June 5.
    - Not sure if we would give the same presentation twice.

- Status of IBISCHK bugs submitted by our group:
  - Bob said they have both been approved.
  - IBISCHK has been recently updated and should have the fixes.
  - We can wait a while to file new bugs, since there may not be another
    update soon.

- David is considering a summit presentation about SiSoft
  - Bob pointed out that it has to be vendor neutral.
  - David may be able to craft a different presentation.
  - Mike said that previously David and Roy were collaborating on a
validation paper that was to be presented at the last summit.

Continued review of the IQ specification:

- 3.2.5. {LEVEL 2} [Pin] RLC parasitics are validated against data sheet
  - Bob felt the text was too prescriptive:
"The ideal is that the parasitics should either be measured or
     extracted using a 2D or 3D solver."

AR: Mike remove "2D or 3D field solver" sentence from 3.2.5

- 3.3.1. {LEVEL 2} [Diff Pin] referenced pins exist
  - IBISCHK already checks this.
  - We agreed to delete this check.

AR: Mike delete check 3.3.1

- 3.3.2. {LEVEL 2} [Diff Pin] Vdiff and Tskew complete and reasonable
  - This should be level 3
  - David suggested we should not allow zero values
  - Tskew is actually Tdelay_typ, Tdelay_min, Tdelay_max in the IBIS spec.
    - Tdelay has typ/min/max
    - Vdiff does not, which corner should be used?
      - Worst-case (loosest) value is used
      - Xilinx IBIS files have Vdiff=100mV or over even though buffers
        are actually 50mV
	- This is done to match the relevant standards

AR: Mike change 3.3.2 to level 3
